Banner Page Support within RPM

RPM Remote Print Manager™ supports inserting several types of banner pages including:

• ASCII text, in a standard format, which will include all information received in the control file.
• A text file provided by the user with control file data placed in fields
• A simple banner page with data from the control file, in PCL
• A blank page, or minimal text, with the option to select an input tray, used as a separator page, in PCL

Control file information can include: Host, Class, Job, Source, and Title.

Raw Type Queue

• Used as a conventional separator page in PCL print jobs, to the Raw Print action.
• Allows support for printing the banner page from a specific tray in PCL print jobs.

Filter Type Queue

• This allows inserting the Control file information at the beginning of the data stream.
• There can be use cases where this is required.
