RPM Remote Print Manager® Elite version 5.0 introduces watermarks to text printing. The watermark settings are shown above in the modified text print action dialog.

The Image path is the path of the file RPM will include. A number of standard file formats are supported. If RPM can't read the image format it will log an error.

The fields "Inches from left margin" and "Inches from top margin" are the offsets to place the image file on the printed page. Note that these are offset from the top left corner of the printed text, not the edge of the paper. You can use negative values here to place the image above and to the left of the paper. Note that RPM will not attempt to print the image outside the printable area on the page.

You can resize the image with the image scale value. RPM will scale the image on its own, using 72 DPI as the image resolution, dividing that into the printer resolution. You might experiment with this setting to get the results you expect.

The setting "Where to use image" lets you place the image in one of these ways:

  • Every page (default)
  • First page
  • All pages but the first
  • Even pages
  • Odd pages
